Qualifications: MB, BCh, BAO., FRCR, FFR RCSI.
Medical Graduate: University College Dublin
Postgraduate radiology training: Diagnostic Radiology at Cork University Hospital on the National Training Scheme of the Faculty of Radiologists, Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Fellowship training: Abdominal imaging fellowship Cleveland Clinic Foundation Cleveland, Ohio.1999-2000; Abdominal imaging fellowship Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital, Boston, Mass 2000-2001
Current consultant appointment: Consultant radiologist Cork University Hospital.
Special Interests: Abdominal imaging, musculoskeletal ultrasound, CT colonography, image guided biopsies.
